Shibayama Golf Club

Shibayama Golf Club is an 18-hole inland course designed by renowned architect Desmond Muirhead. Located on gently rolling terrain with an elevation change of 18 meters, the course features a beautiful landscape characterized by five strategically positioned water hazards that create a "water and light" aesthetic throughout the layout.

Each of the 18 holes is individually named after artists and serves as a motif inspired by their works, giving each hole distinct character and personality. This thoughtful design ensures players face consistently engaging challenges without monotony, requiring sustained concentration throughout the round.

The course is situated approximately 25 minutes by car from Narita Airport and is accessible via the Sakaishii or Matsuo-Yokoshiba interchanges. The facility features a welcoming clubhouse that balances luxury with comfort, offering restaurant services that highlight Chiba Prefecture's regional specialties. The course maintains meticulous conditions, with bentgrass greens cut to 3.0mm and rolled to 10.0 feet speed, ensuring consistent playing surfaces year-round.
