The Bridges at Springtree Golf Club, located in Sunrise, Florida, is an 18-hole public course owned by the City of Sunrise and designed by renowned architect Mark McCumber, a 10-time PGA Tour winner. The course underwent a complete major renovation completed in October 2010.
The layout features an unusual par structure with 11 par 3s (ranging from 209 to 98 yards), one par 5, and six par 4s, playing to a par of 62 and 4,042 yards from the back tees. The course is characterized by rolling terrain set against a natural parkland environment with lakes and wetlands. The signature hole is the 4th, a par 3 over water to a bulkheaded green.
The course employs Supreme Paspalum grass on tees and fairways with Platinum Paspalum on the greens, complemented by USGA-specification greens and a modern irrigation and drainage system. Four sets of tees accommodate all skill levels. The facility includes a 7,000-square-foot clubhouse with a pro shop, locker rooms, and a 95-seat dining room with views of the 18th hole. The course can be completed in less than three hours.
