The Golf-Club Ebersberg e.V. is located in Steinhöring, approximately 30 kilometers east of Munich, and features two distinct courses set against a backdrop of mountain views. The facility includes an 18-hole championship course and a separate nine-hole course known as the Sepp-Maier-Platz. Both layouts are designed to offer golfing experiences within a natural setting, with the club emphasizing accessibility through the allowance of electric carts on both the 18-hole and 9-hole layouts. The primary 18-hole layout is designated as a championship course, providing a full-length challenge for members and visitors. This course is complemented by the nine-hole Sepp-Maier-Platz, which offers a shorter alternative for practice or casual play. The club supports strategic preparation for both courses through the provision of "Birdiebooks," which utilize drone footage to highlight bunker locations and potential hazards hole by hole, allowing players to plan their strategies effectively. Golf operations at the course are supported by a dedicated greenkeeping team and a range of instructional services, including a golf school that offers introductory courses and placement exams. The club also maintains active youth programs, including weekly training sessions and holiday camps, fostering development for younger players. The facility serves as a hub for competitive play, hosting seasonal opening tournaments and participating in broader regional golf networks.
