Saxnäs Golf Club

Saxnäs Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course located on the island of Öland in Sweden, positioned near Kalmarsund with scenic views. Designed by architect Susanna Gustavsson, the course features a par 72 layout measuring approximately 5,644 meters from the yellow tees.

The course is set within a beautiful natural landscape characterized by mixed deciduous and coniferous forests, with prominent oak trees as distinctive features. Built on ancient cultural land situated on former beach ridges, the terrain reflects Öland's historical significance dating back to the Bronze Age.

Saxnäs is designed for year-round play, benefiting from Öland's favorable climate that extends the golfing season considerably. The course welcomes both members and visitors, offering a 9-hole short course alongside the main layout. The club hosts regular competitions including Wednesday Golf (Onsdagsgolfen), club championships, and the Öland Masters. Membership includes access to the short course and participation in various club events and themed days throughout the summer season.
