Santa Teresa Golf Club

Santa Teresa Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in San Jose, California, situated in the foothills with scenic Valley Oak trees and elevated terrain throughout. The course features a par structure with challenging dog-leg layouts and elevation changes that significantly impact play.

The course is characterized by demanding tee shots, strategically placed bunkers, and well-defended greens. Notable design elements include multiple tiered greens requiring precise distance control, with some greens exceeding 45 yards in depth. Wind is a consistent factor, particularly on elevated holes where conditions differ significantly from fairway level.

Key challenges include several dog-leg holes requiring strategic shot placement, multiple par 3s with front bunker hazards, and uphill approaches that demand club selection awareness. The front nine concludes at the restaurant, while the back nine features the demanding par 5 11th with an uphill second shot, and finishes with three consecutive strong holes including the picturesque par 4 18th with a three-tiered green.
