The Sanborn Golf & Country Club is a nine-hole facility located on the southwest edge of Sanborn, Iowa. The course has been in operation for 31 years and is owned by the city. It features a layout that allows for varied play through the use of alternate tee boxes, which provide nine different starting points for the second nine holes. The fairways and greens are maintained in good condition through continuous irrigation using treated water from the nearby wastewater plant. The course includes a practice sand trap and putting greens for player development. A clubhouse operates from April to October, offering lunch and supper services. The facility also contains a lounge, a special party room available for reservations, a pro shop selling retail golf equipment, and a community center located in the basement.
