Saitama Kokusai Golf Club is a 27-hole facility located in Kodama District, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. The course is divided into three distinct nine-hole layouts: the West, East, and South courses. The grounds span 1.45 million square meters and feature mature pine and cedar trees that are over 50 years old. The terrain is characterized by rolling fairways and strategic water hazards, including creeks with rock formations, ponds, and bunkers. The greens are bentgrass, while the fairways are covered in Korean grass and the rough in wild grass. The West Course is widely regarded as the most popular for achieving good scores, particularly from the forward tees, though it presents the highest difficulty from the back tees. It features a demanding par-3 seventh hole with a water hazard guarding the green, and a long par-5 ninth hole that requires precise distance control on the second shot. The East Course offers a different challenge, with its second and third holes cited as among the most difficult on the property. This layout includes a long par-5 first hole with out-of-bounds risks and a ninth hole that plays to a severe back-sloping green, requiring careful pin placement awareness. The South Course is the newest of the three, designed in an American style with rolling fairways that emphasize rough strategy. It offers expansive views of the Takasaki and Maebashi areas. The layout includes a formidable par-5 fourth hole that stretches to 620 yards from the blue tees, and a par-4 fifth hole featuring a tiered "cannon" green that penalizes shots landing on the left. The ninth hole on this course also plays to a significant back-sloping green. All three courses are equipped with GPS golf navigation systems in every cart. The facility offers multiple tee sets, with the full length from the blue tees ranging from 6,526 yards on the West and East combinations to 6,725 yards for the South and West combination. The course is a member of the Japan Golf Association (JGA) and the Kanto Golf Association (KGA). A 250-yard driving range is available on-site, though it may close during winter months due to weather conditions.
