Saint Petersburg Country Club

St. Petersburg Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course established in 1924, located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The course features recently renovated Champions Turf greens combined with a traditional layout that presents varied natural challenges throughout. Recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation, commemorating the club's 100th anniversary in November 2024.

The course is designed to provide a pure test of golf with a challenging layout that requires approximately 4 hours per round. The club hosts the prestigious New Year's Invitational tournament, one of the nation's premier amateur golf events, which features top national and international amateur talent annually. The 99th iteration in 2025 offers Korn Ferry Tour exemption status to the winner, highlighting the tournament's competitive significance.

Situated in the Tampa Bay area, the course maintains a traditional design philosophy while offering modern conditioning standards through its recent greens renovation. The club also features practice facilities and a full golf shop with professional instruction available from the PGA staff.
