Saddlebrook is a favorite among golfers on The Villages Executive Golf Trail, featuring "southern-style" golf with gently rolling fairways rimmed by large oaks draped with hanging Spanish moss. The course opened in 1999and is rated at difficulty level 2, with all 9 holes being water holes. The course was designed by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton. Located at the corner of Buena Vista Boulevard and State Road 466, the course is situated in the Spanish Springs area of The Villages. The course offers expansive practice facilities including a large driving range with targets set up for various distances, plus a chipping and putting green that imitates the course greens.
