Saare Golf ☆ Follow

Located in Kuressaare, Saare Golf is a championship-standard 18-hole course designed by Finnish architect Lassi Pekka Tilander. Opened in August 2008, the layout measures 6,310 meters from the back tees and plays to a par of 72. The course is situated within walking distance of the town center, integrating the rolling terrain of Saaremaa’s natural landscape into its design. The facility adheres to United States Golf Association construction norms, a standard shared by only a small number of courses in Northern Europe. The design emphasizes a seamless blend with the surrounding environment, featuring undulating fairways that utilize the natural topography to challenge golfers of varying skill levels. A 2.6-hectare practice area accompanies the main course, accommodating up to 30 players simultaneously. This facility includes bunkers and dedicated chipping and putting greens. Uniquely, the practice area also features two full-length par-3 holes, allowing visitors to experience the course’s specific playing conditions and emotional atmosphere before playing the full round.
