Rutgers Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 71 championship layout spanning over 6,300 yards, located on Rutgers University's Busch Campus in Piscataway, New Jersey. Originally developed as a 9-hole facility, it was reopened as a full 18-hole course on May 29, 1963. The picturesque, tree-lined course is PGA-sanctioned and features four teeing areas per hole to accommodate various skill levels.

The course presents a challenging layout characterized by narrow fairways, fast greens, and water hazards on seven holes. These elements combine to test golfers of different abilities while maintaining playability for the general public. The setting benefits from proximity to other university facilities, including the Waksman Institute, Rutgers Medical School, and athletic facilities like SHI Stadium.

The course operates seasonally, typically opening March 1 and closing December 15, weather permitting. Tee times begin at 7 am on weekdays and 6 am on weekends during peak season. The facility maintains a mission focused on providing superior playing conditions with quality fairways and greens alongside professional instruction and service.
