Russell Vale Public Golf Course

Russell Vale Golf Course is situated between the Northern Illawarra Escarpment and the Pacific Ocean on the New South Wales coast. The course features a mixture of Par 3s, three Par 4s, and a challenging Par 5, making it relatively short with memorable holes suited to golfers of all skill levels. The layout provides approximately three and a half hours of play.

The setting is picturesque, offering stunning escarpment views and ocean vistas that characterize the course experience. The terrain combines the natural landscape features between the escarpment and coastline, creating a distinctive playing environment.

While not exceptionally long, Russell Vale presents varied shot requirements that challenge golfers across different ability levels. The course is operated by Wollongong City Council and serves as the home course for Russell Vale Golf Club, which hosts regular weekly member competitions. The welcoming clubhouse complements the course experience, providing social amenities following rounds.
