Running Deer is an 18-hole championship-style course featuring 7,174 yards of golf for a par of 72, with a course rating of 74.3 and slope rating of 134. Designed by Ed Carman and opened in 2000, the course is located in Pittsgrove, NJ, in the heart of South Jersey. The championship-style golf course is surrounded by towering pines, rolling fairways, and peaceful natural beauty. The lush green teeing areas, rolling fairways, and dynamic, undulating terrain offer special challenges to golfers of every handicap.

The course features tree-lined fairways riddled with approximately 70 bunkers, several water hazards, and greens now reaching double-digits on the Stimp. The course was ranked number 20 in New Jersey by Golf Digest in 2005-06.

The course has hosted notable tournaments including the NFL Philadelphia Eagles Alumni Tournament Qualifier (2009-present), U.S. Open Local Qualifiers (2017 and 2024), the Philadelphia Amateur Qualifier (2021), and the Christman Cup (2016). Running Deer Golf Club is part of the Ron Jaworski Golf (RJG) family of courses and operates as a semi-private facility with public access available.
