Rumson Country Club

Rumson Country Club, founded in 1908 on the Jersey Shore in Rumson, New Jersey, is a premier private golf facility featuring an 18-hole golf course. Located in an attractive coastal setting, the club has maintained its rich history and traditions for over a century while serving as a family-oriented community.

The club's golf course is complemented by extensive amenities including The Riverhouse, croquet, platform tennis, a 30+ slip marina, swimming pool, tennis courts, and trap and skeet shooting facilities. The main clubhouse, originally built in 1900 as the home of member Edward Scudder, was relocated to the club's current location in 1946 after the original clubhouse was destroyed by fire. The clubhouse has undergone multiple expansions and renovations throughout its history to meet evolving member needs, with ongoing renovation phases occurring since 2022.
