The course offers five distinct tee options ranging from 4,785 to 6,309 metres, accommodating all skill levels. From the Open tees at 6,309m with a par 75 scratch rating, the course presents significant challenge with a 134 slope rating for men. The Heath tees provide an entry point at 4,785m with a 68 scratch rating and 116 slope. A striking feature is the 108 bunkers strategically incorporated throughout the layout using modern design principles.

The redesigned Bay Course maintains Royal Sydney's championship status while incorporating contemporary golf architecture standards.
