Royal Meadows Golf Club

Royal Meadows Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf course located in Kansas City, Missouri, near Kauffman Stadium and approximately 10 minutes east of downtown. Originally built in the 1930s as Stayton Meadows, the course was completely redesigned in 2002 by course architect Craig Schreiner.

The layout features large undulating greens, contoured bent grass fairways, and three ponds distributed throughout the property. The course is set on zoysia grass with four different tee box options, allowing it to accommodate golfers of varying skill levels. Off-season cart use is permitted off the paths when weather conditions allow.

Royal Meadows offers a fair challenge across its 18 holes, combining classic design elements with strategic water hazards. The course serves as a Kansas City landmark and provides membership options, golf leagues, outings, and tournament hosting capabilities. As a public course managed through the GreatLIFE Golf network, it welcomes daily fee play alongside member activities.
