Rowany Golf Course

Established in 1895, Rowany Golf Club is located in Port Erin on the southwestern corner of the Isle of Man. The 18-hole course measures 5,722 yards from the white tees (5,128 from red tees) with a par of 70, offering a moderate challenge suitable for golfers of varying abilities.

The course features a relatively gentle start with the opening two holes allowing players to settle in while enjoying panoramic views. The terrain becomes progressively more demanding as the round develops. The signature 18th hole provides one of the course's most distinctive features—a spectacular vista of Port Erin Bay, the Irish Sea, and on clear days, the Mountains of Mourne visible across the water.

The course is characterized by its seaside setting with varying terrain that tests shot-making throughout the round. Beyond the main course, Rowany offers a 6-hole pitch and putt facility for short-game practice (members only). The club provides accessible booking options for visitors and societies, with competitive green fees. The clubhouse offers dining facilities to complete the golfing experience.
