Rooster Run Golf Club is an 18-hole course located in Petaluma, Wine Country. Originally developed from pancake-flat pastureland, the course was shaped with 370,000 cubic yards of soil movement to create undulating hills. The design incorporates three meandering creeks with native willows, cottonwoods, and oak trees, along with six lakes and the area's only island green (Hole 15). The course features 39 fairway and greenside bunkers.

The layout plays to 7,001 yards from the back tees (Black) with a slope rating of 138 and rating of 73.9, down to 5,139 yards from the Red tees. Hole 7, a long dogleg-left par 4 with water running its entire length, is the most difficult hole. The signature oak tree frames Hole 17. Notable characteristics include six consecutive holes (5-10) that play into the wind, with Hole 9 considered one of Sonoma County's most challenging par 5s due to water hazards on multiple shots.

The course offers multiple tee options for both men and women, with varying difficulty levels. Practice facilities include a grass driving range and two practice putting greens. Amenities include a pro shop, café, and event center.
