Roosevelt Municipal Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal course situated on 150 acres overlooking Roosevelt, Utah, with panoramic views of the surrounding community and the Uinta Mountains to the north. The front nine, opened in May 1974 and designed by Joe Williams, features traditional layout with tree-lined fairways and large greens. Water hazards come into play on three holes, and while greens lack severe breaks, the mature trees increase difficulty for all skill levels. The back nine, completed in May 1994 and designed by local developer Gordie Harmston with community support and state funding, plays with a links-style character until trees mature. This nine includes distinctive holes such as an island green, a par-3 with over 100 feet of vertical drop, and a par-5 with a double fairway. Cliff areas impact play on three holes. The back nine greens are more contoured than the front, providing a greater putting challenge. Nearly all holes feature wall-to-wall grass, creating a lush, established country club atmosphere throughout the course.
