Romiley Golf Course

Romiley Golf Club is renowned for having one of the finest course layouts in the North West, situated in the Cheshire countryside near the Derbyshire hills and Peak District National Park. The course features panoramic views extending to the Welsh mountains.

The 18-hole course has a par of 70 and stretches 6,310 yards from the white tees. It comprises 4 par 3s, 2 par 5s, and 12 par 4s, with five of the par 4s exceeding 400 yards. The layout follows a traditional two-loop design of nine holes, with the clubhouse and halfway hut providing refreshment stops.

The course is defined by tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers, presenting a challenging test of golf ability and course management. Players must employ a full range of clubs and shot types throughout their round. Notable features include the opening hole, a 422-yard par 4 requiring an accurate tee shot, and the 10th hole, a 463-yard par 5 offering birdie opportunities for well-placed tee shots.
