Rock Barn features 36 holes of award-winning golf in Conover, NC, with the Jackson Course open to the public and the Jones Course members-only. The Jackson Course was designed by Tom Jackson in 1969 and has a par of 71 at 6,427 yards. The Jackson Course is the older of the two courses having opened for play in 1969. The Jackson Course tumbles across picturesque valleys, offering both dramatic elevation changes and beautiful scenery, with the layout shorter and less demanding than the Jones Course but challenging nonetheless, as the undulating terrain demands accuracy and perfect ball placement.

The Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., is the more challenging of Rock Barn's courses, takes full advantage of the terrain as well as Lyle Creek which wanders throughout the property, and features 7,126 yards for a par of 72. The Jones Course was awarded best new Course in the state by North Carolina magazine in 2003. It was chosen by the PGA as an annual stop for the Senior Champions Tour event the Greater Hickory Classic at Rock Barn for over 13 years. Rock Barn Golf & Spa is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains about an hour north of Charlotte.
