Riviera Golf De Barbossi

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior, Riviera Golf de Barbossi is an 18-hole championship course set on elevated terrain overlooking the Baie de Cannes. The 5,461-meter layout plays to par 71 and combines technical difficulty with strategic decision-making throughout. The course features rolling fairways adorned with a collection of 22 contemporary sculptures, creating a unique fusion of golf and cultural experience. Key challenges include well-placed tee shots followed by bunkers lining the fairways, the Riou river, lakes, and notably defended undulating greens that demand precision. The setting offers spectacular views of the Estérel massif and the vineyard-covered domain landscape. The course balances playability with challenge, maintaining the pleasure of golf throughout while requiring tactical shot selection and proper positioning off the tee. The Riviera Golf Academy holds the French Golf Federation's 2021 Development Label, offering instruction and programming for all ages and skill levels.
