River Run Golf Course

River Run Golf Course is a municipal 18-hole course located in west-central Wisconsin near Sparta, just a couple miles from Interstate 90. Expanded to 18 holes in 1982, the course has earned a three-star rating from Golf Digest and is recognized as the most popular in the area. The front nine runs along Perch Lake, while the back nine meanders through mature pine stands. The course features large bent grass greens throughout and offers four sets of tees per hole, ranging from 5,473 yards from the forward tees to 6,622 yards from the champion tees, accommodating golfers of all skill levels. The mature landscape provides a scenic and challenging layout suitable for both casual and serious golfers. An onsite driving range with five practice tees is available. The facility also includes a pro shop offering club and cart rentals, and the adjacent Greens Bar & Restaurant provides dining options during rounds.
