River Falls Plantation is an 18-hole Gary Player Signature course that opened in 1990, featuring 6,697 yards of golf for a par of 72. Located in South Carolina between Spartanburg and Greenville with easy access to I-85, I-26 and Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, the course features lush, rolling fairways and Diamond Zoysia greens bordered by the South Tyger River.

The narrow layout tests the accuracy and shot making abilities of golfers, with rolling hills providing a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic, and water hazards frequently coming into play alongside strategically placed bunkers framing the greens and fairways. The course rating is 72.8 with a slope rating of 132. Five sets of tees challenge golfers of all skill levels.

The abundance of mature trees helped Player achieve a design that is both formidable and scenic, with trees surrounding the holes to give each a secluded and peaceful feel. Tavern 290 Grill and Bar is located in the clubhouse and offers casual dining and serves as a venue for group events.
