The Ridgeview golf course opened in 1969. The course lies at the foot of picturesque Pine Ridge just south of Chadron.

The course is superbly conditioned with lush fairways leading to meticulously manicured greens that are ringed by tightly mowed aprons. The layout of the course is open and, except for out-of-bounds along a couple fairways, is not penalizing, with very playable rough. Hole 7 is a 553 yard par 5 with water hazards that require strategic placement. Hole 8 is a 350 yard par 4 that features a signature cottonwood tree that can block approach shots. The course has an onsite driving range with 2 practice tees.
