Rice Lake Golf and Country Club

Rice Lake Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole semi-private, member-owned facility located in Lake Mills, Iowa, near Interstate 35 in North/Central Iowa. Originally established in 1922 as Rice Lake Outing Club, the course has earned recognition as a two-time Iowa Golf Association "Golf Course of the Year" award recipient, including the 2023 18-Hole Course of the Year designation.

The layout features four sets of tees and is characterized by mature landscaping, challenging topography, and high-quality bentgrass greens. The course blends historic golf tradition with modern amenities and technology. Beyond the main course, Rice Lake provides an expansive driving range, short game chipping area, and practice green for skill development.

The facility includes a fully stocked pro shop, snack bar, and restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining areas. The clubhouse serves as a venue for banquets and group events. The course accommodates various tournaments, corporate outings, fundraising events, and golf groups of all sizes. Management is led by PGA Golf Professional Travis Laudner, who brings over 20 years of experience in club management and golf resort operations.
