Red Canyon Golf Club

Hongyu Red Canyon Golf Club is a 27-hole international championship course located in the Yalong Bay National Tourism Resort in Sanya, China's southernmost city. Designed by world-renowned golf course architect JMP, the course spans 2,000 acres and features three distinct 9-hole layouts: the Lake Course (A), Desert Course (B), and Mountain Course (C), each offering unique landscape characteristics.

The course is situated on red cliff terrain with commanding elevation changes, providing scenic vistas from multiple tee positions. Seven holes feature elevated tees offering panoramic views across the landscape. Notable holes include the signature par-6 9th hole on the B Course, one of China's few standard par-6 holes, and the A Course's 4th hole, which has received recognition in China's Best Golf Awards. The combination of water hazards, desert conditions, and mountainous terrain creates varied playing challenges across the three courses.
