Reames Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole private golf course located in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The original nine holes were designed by renowned architect H. Chandler Egan and constructed in 1924, with a second nine designed by Robert Bullock added in 1965. The facility sits on over 200 acres in a picturesque hillside setting with views toward Mount Shasta. The course features winter rye fairways and bent grass greens with numerous bunkers and water hazards throughout.
The course presents a moderate challenge with elevated, fast greens and approach shots requiring navigation over sand or trees. While relatively short in overall length, the layout includes some significant hills but remains walkable for most players. The property features both open and tree-lined holes, with well-maintained fairways and receptive greens. In 1959, Reames hosted the Oregon PGA Championship, marking a notable tournament milestone in the club's history.
The private club offers limited public play to out-of-county residents and maintains a strong community presence through free clinics, junior programs, and charitable events supporting local organizations. The course was established through the vision of two local hunters with property donated by Evan Reames, from whom the club takes its name.
