Raven's Claw Golf Club ☆ Follow

Opened in 2005, Raven's Claw Golf Club is a par-71 course east of Pottstown, Pennsylvania that measures over 6,700 yards from the back tees and was designed by Ed Shearon. Located in Limerick Township, Montgomery County, the course has been laid out with a variety of hole styles, many carved from rolling hills and mature wooded areas that require creative shot-making with stunning views. With bent grass tees, greens and fairways, the championship course provides playability and challenge for golfers of all skill levels on a layout that stretches from 4,834 to 6,941 yards. One of the course's most memorable holes is the tricky penultimate hole, an unforgiving par-3 with a double-tiered, undulating green with no bailout areas to the left or right.

The course is ranked in the Top 10 in Pennsylvania by Golfweek magazine and on the Top New Courses in the United States by Golf Digest magazine 8 years running. Raven's Claw is the home course for the Symetra Tour's Valley Forge Invitational, with the course record held by Symetra Tour player Louise Ridderstrom of Sweden, who shot an 8-under-par 63 in 2018. A distinctive feature is the remains of an old house in the fairway of the first hole, dating to the 1700s or 1800s. The course name comes from the presence of ravens that perch in the course's trees.
