Raven Rock Golf Course is an 18-hole championship layout in southeastern Kentucky, originally opened in 1995 as a 9-hole course and expanded to 18 holes in 2003. Located in Jenkins, Kentucky, the course is built within a remarkable 2,000-acre strip mine reclamation project, representing a sustainable transformation of a once-scarred landscape into a model golf destination.

The course features broad, prairie grass-lined fairways with dramatic elevation changes reaching nearly 3,000 feet, offering striking mountain views throughout. The layout winds dramatically around an old quarry, creating a moderately challenging experience set within reclaimed wildwoods. The mountainous terrain and natural landscape provide unforgettable vistas and a unique playing experience suitable for golfers of all skill levels.

Built by TECO Coal, the course exemplifies how industrial land can be repurposed into a recreational asset while preserving the natural beauty of Appalachia. The design emphasizes the integration of human craftsmanship with the region's inherent topography and natural features, creating a distinctive golfing environment in the heart of Eastern Kentucky.
