Rathbane Golf Course is a public golf course located on the outskirts of Limerick, designed by James Healy and opened in 1998. Owned by Limerick City and County Council and operated by Mack Trading Ltd since 2001, it welcomes golfers of all skill levels.

The course has established itself as an accessible yet challenging layout, designed to accommodate beginners while providing a formidable test for low handicap golfers. A significant redevelopment in 2008, funded by Limerick City and County Council in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, enhanced the course with new tee boxes, a lake feature, and improved greens.

With approximately 40,000 rounds played annually since its inception, Rathbane has facilitated over one million rounds of golf while maintaining a reputation for best value golf. The course's evolving design and consistent improvements have positioned it as a competitive golfing destination in the region. The course has received multiple recognitions, including Public Golf Course of the Year awards from 2020 through 2024, reflecting its commitment to quality and accessibility in Irish golf.
