The Ras Al Hamra Golf Club, located within the Ras Al Hamra Recreation Centre in Muscat, Oman, is a semi-private facility designed by Graham Marsh Golf Design. Situated between the recreation centre, the PDO offices, and the PDO school, the course is positioned next to the Gulf of Oman amidst arid wadi and coastal hillsides. Originally opened in 1969 as a sand course, it was later redesigned into a grass course featuring established trees and native shrubs to mimic the surrounding Omani landscape. The layout consists of nine holes that are configured to offer an 18-hole par 71 experience, with yardages varying from 5,400 to 6,500 yards.

A defining characteristic of the course is its status as the only fully floodlit golf course in Oman, allowing for play at night. The design incorporates clever placement of multiple tees and large double greens, along with alternative tee locations, to create variety and challenge. This setup enables the nine physical holes to function as a full 18-hole layout, providing a unique playing environment in the region. The course also includes its own floodlit practice area.

The facility is accessible to members of the Ras Al Hamra Recreation Centre, with external members receiving a discount on membership fees when signing up for both the recreation centre and the golf club. The course maintains a desert-style aesthetic, blending into the barren and rocky terrain of the area. It remains a notable venue for golf in Muscat, offering a distinct combination of coastal proximity, floodlit accessibility, and a layout that maximizes the nine-hole footprint through strategic design elements.
