Railwood Golf Club

Railwood Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course located in Holts Summit, Missouri. The course features four tee boxes offering varying distances, with Black tees stretching up to 7,000+ yards total yardage, accommodating players of all skill levels from beginners to advanced golfers.

The course is characterized by significant elevation changes, with several downhill and uphill holes creating strategic playing opportunities. Water hazards, including Railwood Creek and Nieman's Creek, feature prominently throughout the layout, particularly on holes 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, and 10. Bunkers strategically protect greens on multiple holes, including the par 4s at holes 6 and 12, and par 3s at hole 5.

Notable design elements include dramatic elevation shifts—with some holes dropping 50-70 feet and others climbing significantly. The par 3 at hole 5 presents birdie opportunities with wind challenges from adjacent bluffs. Hole 8, rated as the course's most difficult (handicap 1), is an uphill par 5 with substantial trouble to the right and a large hill complicating approach shots.

Several holes feature doglegs, including the sharp dogleg left at hole 12 and the dogleg right finishing hole. The back nine includes downhill par 5 at hole 16, offering excellent scoring opportunities with nearly 100 feet of elevation change.
