The club was revived in April 1999 by a subcommittee of the Puerto Madryn Aeromodelismo Club, including Aldo M. Lorenzino, Norberto Figueira, and Enrique Pi, who began practicing on a large, clean plot of land. In February 2001, under the leadership of President Alejandro Blum, the organization was formally restructured to secure a concession for a golf course in the forested zone provided by the local electric cooperative. The course is an 18-hole facility that hosts regular competitive play, including a summer championship series consisting of eight tournaments. The club maintains a structured handicap system for its members, with competition categories ranging from low handicaps (0-16) to higher handicaps (25-36), as well as a separate division for women. The playing conditions are influenced by the local climate, with summer tournaments frequently characterized by heat and north winds. The club emphasizes member participation and course maintenance, noting that the fairways and greens require active care to remain in playable condition. Maintenance challenges are a noted aspect of the course's operation, with the club requesting that players repair divots and pitch marks, practice swings outside of small tee boxes, and remove all trash from the playing area. The limited maintenance staff means that player cooperation is essential for preserving the quality of the turf.
