Designed by British Open Champion Tom Weiskopf, Puerto Cancún is an 18-hole par 72 course that opened in May 2013. The layout stretches to 7,241 yards and provides a comprehensive test for players of all skill levels, from scratch golfers to beginners. The course features expansive greens and combines modern design with natural landscape elements. Set within an ecological reserve, the course offers stunning views of the Caribbean Sea, canals, and protected mangrove areas that frame the playing corridors. The setting provides a unique blend of tropical scenery and challenging golf. With multiple tee options offering ratings from 68.9 to 75.6 for men and 70.1 to 72.8 for women, the course accommodates various handicap levels. Soft spikes are required, and the facility also includes a Toptracer Range with advanced virtual golf technology for practice and instruction, complemented by professional golf clinics and coaching services.
