Ponkapoag Golf Course

Ponkapoag Golf Course is a 36-hole public facility located in Canton, Massachusetts, designed by renowned architect Donald Ross. The course comprises two 18-hole layouts with varying difficulty levels. Course #1 features a par 72 layout, while Course #2 also plays to par 71, with yardages ranging from approximately 5,000 to 7,300 yards depending on tee selection.

The course is set across rolling hills with open expanses, woods, and frozen ponds that characterize the landscape. The facility offers a full range of amenities including a driving range, putting green, pro shop, and snack bar. Power carts are available, along with specialized Paragolfer and SoloRider adaptive carts for golfers with mobility impairments.

Ponkapoag is notable for its versatility—beyond championship golf, the course transforms into a cross-country skiing destination during winter months. The facility provides lessons for beginners and offers accessible accommodations including accessible parking, restrooms, and adaptive golf programs.
