Plumas Lake Golf & Country Club

Plumas Lake Golf Club, located 10 miles south of Marysville in the Sacramento Valley, is an 18-hole semi-private course open to the public. Originally developed as a 9-hole course by club members, it was expanded and redesigned in 1960 by renowned architect Bob Baldock. The course plays at 6,200 yards from the White Tees and features relatively small greens protected by abundant mature oak trees lining Bermuda fairways. A drainage canal meanders throughout the property and comes into play on 12 of the 18 holes, adding strategic challenge. The course is not exceptionally long or hilly, making it suitable for walking. Plumas Lake has been recognized as a top 100 public golf course in America by Golf Digest on two occasions. Conveniently situated approximately 30-40 minutes from Sacramento and 45 minutes from Chico and Oroville, the course offers an accessible championship golf experience in the valley setting.
