Plum River Golf Course

Preston Valley Golf is a 9-hole public course located in Preston, Iowa, designed by Mark Kerr and opened in 1999 as Plum River Fault Line Golf Course. The course features 3,007 yards from the longest tees with a par of 36, a course rating of 35.0, and a slope rating of 119. Set in the countryside north of Preston, the course offers a charming, family-friendly experience nestled in Eastern Iowa's landscape with views of ponds and wildlife. The terrain includes fairways lined with mature trees, including notable cottonwoods, and the course has undergone recent improvements including new landscaping and tree plantings. Key features include a pond visible from hole 2 and a newly added sand trap at hole 9. The course serves as the home venue for Easton Valley River Hawks and Northeast Rebels golf teams, with both high school teams having recently competed at state level. Recent upgrades include a golf simulator facility, driving range, and enhanced irrigation systems.
