Pine Ridge Municipal Golf Course

Pine Ridge Golf Course is a par-3 facility located in Waterville, Maine, that opened in 1963 and remains one of only four short courses in the state. The course features nine holes ranging from 103 to 248 yards, designed to provide a full-length golf experience in a compact par-3 setting. The layout includes postage stamp-sized greens protected by bunkers and rough, creating strategic challenges for all skill levels. A new back nine was added, playing approximately 300 yards longer than the original front nine and offering increased difficulty for both beginning and advanced players. The course is situated on 101 West River Road and operates daily from 6 AM to 8 PM during its May through October season. Beyond the course itself, Pine Ridge offers golf instruction, men's and women's leagues, a pro shop, club repair services, and hosts tournaments and golf outings. The facility is designed to appeal to golfers of all abilities, combining challenge for experienced players with accessibility for beginners.
