Pine Hills Golf Course is an 18-hole course established in 1961 in Laingsburg, Michigan, originally developed by Ed Beavers on his family farm. The course was expanded from nine holes to eighteen holes in the early 1990s, utilizing the original Beavers farm property, 20 acres from the adjoining Buskirk family land, and 40 acres of leased property from the City of Laingsburg that was formerly used as a landfill.
The course is characterized by its scenic layout winding through mature trees and wetlands, with good elevation changes throughout and abundant wildlife. Multiple river hazards feature prominently, and the course includes undulating greens. The terrain offers a mix of wooded areas and challenges suitable for golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to scratch golfers. Now managed by PGA professional Greg Beavers, the grandson of the founder, Pine Hills is known for delivering both challenge and an enjoyable playing experience while maintaining a laid-back atmosphere and reasonable value.
