Located in the village of Kashino in the Sverdlovsk region, 25 kilometers from Yekaterinburg, Pine Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course designed by English architect Paul Thomas. The course is set within a 147-hectare resort complex, with the 75-hectare playing area featuring 59 sand bunkers and 15 water hazards. The layout is integrated into the natural landscape of the Bakhov regions, offering a challenging environment for golfers. The course presents a variety of difficulties across its 18 holes, with yardages varying significantly by tee box. The par 5 6th hole is noted as the most difficult, featuring uneven terrain and abundant water hazards that require a long drive and precise approach. The 10th hole, also a par 5, presents a narrow fairway flanked by water on the right and trees on the left, demanding high accuracy. Other notable challenges include the 4th hole, where a water hazard runs along the entire right edge, and the 8th hole, a par 3 that requires a shot over water to a large, elongated green. The course is equipped with four sets of tee boxes-black, blue, white, and red-allowing for varying lengths and difficulty levels. Local rules are established in accordance with the regulations of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews. The club officially opened in May 2013 and was included in the registry of sports facilities by the Russian Ministry of Sports in 2015, certifying its compliance with international standards for hosting official tournaments. Pine Creek Golf Club hosts regular tournaments of international, all-Russian, and regional levels. The facility supports a full golf academy and hosts events such as the Junior Golf Week and the Captain's Cup LIV Golf. The course is part of a larger resort that includes a clubhouse with a restaurant, conference facilities, and accommodation, catering to both competitive play and leisure visits.
