Pike Run Golf Club is an 18-hole course measuring 6,261 yards with a par of 71. The course was designed by Ernie Schrock and opened in 1959. Originally built as a 9-hole course in 1960, it expanded to 18 holes in 1997. Located in West Central Ohio, Pike Run Golf Club is situated three miles north of Ottawa.
The course combines both links style golf on the front nine and placement/shot-making golf on the back, with the front nine allowing players to grab the driver and swing away while being aware of strategically placed bunkers and tall fescue grass. The back nine, which was built in 1960, is more for the shot makers, where proper placement of the tee shot is very important to avoid the tall mature trees and Pike Run Creek that comes into play on 5 of the 9 holes. The course has a slope rating of 115 and a course rating of 69.0.
The course features well-manicured fairways and memorable holes, including its own version of "Amen Corner" with the challenging dogleg par-4 #13, the signature par-3 #14, and the beautifully sloped green on #15.
