Considered one of the hidden gems in the Midlands, Penn Golf Club is an impressive heathland course located within Penn Common, where the industrialised Black Country meets the rural countryside of South Staffordshire. The land was acquired from the Duke of Sutherland in 1908 and has developed into one of the region's most impressive courses.

The course features picturesque surroundings with views over the Clee Hills and is traditionally styled with a challenging heathland layout that has matured over more than a century. The design effectively utilises natural grasses and gorse, creating a course that is tempting to ambitious players while punishing wayward shots. Penn Golf Club maintains excellent greens year-round and well-manicured fairways throughout.

The course serves as the home venue for Staffordshire U14, U16, and U18 junior boys, indicating its standing within the region. High-quality presentation and an excellent reputation characterise this traditionally designed course that appeals to golfers seeking an aesthetically pleasing and challenging round.
