Pecan Valley Golf Course consists of two 18-hole courses separated by the Clear Fork of the Trinity River in Fort Worth, Texas. Originally designed by Ralph Plummer in 1963, the "River" Course plays to 6,100 yards from the Regular Tees and extends to 6,600 yards from the Championship Tees, with forward tees at under 5,600 yards. Considered one of Texas's top municipal courses, the River Course features a challenging layout set against the natural terrain created by the river valley.
The "Hills" Course, which had its back nine holes added in 1982 by designer Dave Bennett, plays approximately 150 yards shorter than the River Course. The course is undergoing tree maturation that will enhance playing conditions over time. Both courses offer varying difficulty levels to accommodate different skill levels. Facilities include a driving range with target greens adjacent to the Hills Course, a snack shop with indoor seating and outdoor covered patio accommodating up to 200 golfers, and parking for approximately 280 vehicles. The complex serves as a popular venue for tournament outings and daily play.
