Pecan Hollow Golf Course is a public facility located in Plano, Texas, originally opened in 1973 under the design of legendary architect Don January. The course underwent a comprehensive year-long renovation completed in November 2011 by the Plano-based Weibring-Wolfard group. The championship layout stretches 7,026 yards and features mini-verde greens with five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. The course is characterized by fast, true-rolling greens, white sand bunkers strategically positioned along greens and fairways, and immaculate conditioning throughout. Beyond the main course, Pecan Hollow offers extensive practice facilities including an expanded, lighted driving range for night practice, a 5-hole short course, a chipping green with three practice bunkers, and a 14,000 square-foot putting green. The facility operates as a public course open Tuesday through Sunday, with a fully stocked golf shop on-site. The course has established itself as a longstanding favorite in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
