Paxton Park Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course located in Paducah, Kentucky, featuring gently rolling terrain. Designed by British architect George Davies in 1939-1940, the course has undergone several significant renovations while maintaining much of its original layout. The course is characterized by three large lakes that provide water hazards on seven holes. Playing surfaces include Champion ultradwarf bermuda greens, known for their true roll and fast pace comparable to bentgrass while offering superior heat tolerance. The course offers four sets of tees on each hole, with tee boxes composed of zoysia and bermuda grass, and fairways primarily bermuda with zoysia installed on six fairways in 2014. The course hosts several tournaments including the Irvin Cobb Championships and a 2-Player Scramble, along with a Seniors of the Tri-States Golf Tournament. Paxton Park is described as Paducah's finest golf destination and serves both public players and members.
