Parcours Brunehaut

Course Information

Address:
Hainaut
Belgium

The Royal Golf Club du Hainaut, located in Jurbise near Mons, is a 27-hole facility comprising three distinct nine-hole courses. Inaugurated in 1933, the club was established on the lands of the Princes de Croÿ, situated within a pine forest landscape characterized by heather, gorse, and sandy soil. The design work was entrusted to the renowned English architect Tom Simpson, who also created the courses at Spa, Sart-Tilmant, and Kapellen. The course is set in a natural environment that offers a challenging experience for golfers of varying levels. The sandy terrain allows for playability even during wet conditions, maintaining the integrity of the fairways and greens throughout the year. The layout is designed to provide a high-level golfing challenge, leveraging the natural undulations and vegetation of the Hainaut region. The facility includes extensive training areas and a clubhouse that serves as a central hub for the club's activities, supporting both competitive play and recreational golf.
