Paragould Country Club is an 18-hole private golf facility located in Paragould, Arkansas, on Crowley's Ridge. Designed by Arkansas Golf Hall of Fame member Walter "Junie" Dowell, the course features a distinctive saddleback layout with undulating "007 Bent grass greens" and bermuda fairways. Construction began in spring 1967, with nine holes completed by spring 1968. The original front nine were blended with nine additional holes, completing the full 18-hole layout in 1981. The course has undergone numerous renovations, including recent upgrades to its bentgrass greens in 2020 and installation of a new watering system and sprinkler heads. A two-tiered tee practice range facility was also recently added. The club hosts several significant tournaments annually, including the AMMC Foundation Golf Tournament, Paragould Chamber of Commerce events, and Greene County Tech Foundation tournaments. It has previously hosted 5A State High School Golf Championships and serves as a venue for various local charity and community golf events.
