Palmerstown House Estate Golf Course is a challenging 18-hole golf course set on 900 acres of parkland with one of the country's only island greens. The course was designed by Christy O'Connor Jnr. The 7,419-yard course presents players with feelings of tradition, excellence and quality. The challenging course is set amidst thousands of mature trees that boast a variety of colour throughout all four seasons, and each hole has its own individual charm.

The course is primely located at Exit 8 on the M7, situated on a former stud farm in County Kildare. The course was host to the Irish Region Championship in 2005 and the Irish Seniors Championship in 2007. 2024 saw the hosting of the 114th PGA Championship from August 6th to 9th. The signature feature of the course is its island green, a distinctive element that sets it apart within Irish golf. No handicap certificate is required, although beginners might find this championship course demanding.
