The Citrus Club's championship golf course, known as the Citrus Course, is an 18-hole members-only layout designed by renowned architect Pete Dye and opened in 1987. Located in La Quinta within the PGA WEST community near Palm Springs, the course is characterized by distinctive groves of the club's signature white-skirted citrus trees lining the fairways, set against the dramatic visual backdrop of the Santa Rosa Mountains.
The course features a challenging design true to Pete Dye's signature style, incorporating lush terrain with impeccably maintained greens contrasted against numerous water hazards and sand bunkers. With seven sets of tees, the Citrus Course accommodates golfers of all skill levels. The course carries a rating of 74.3 with a slope of 135. One of the course's notable features is the 18th green, regarded as one of the finest finishing holes in the area. The club also maintains one of the largest practice facilities in the Palm Springs region.
The Citrus Club serves as a private golf and social community, offering members access to amenities including dining, social events, and additional recreational facilities within the PGA WEST community.
